THE AMAZING THUNDER TUBE
Shake to create rumbling thunder. Hit the spring to get a lightning strike. Pull and release the spring, or drag a stick along it, or scrape the spring with your nails while pulling it through your fingers. An incredible range of unusual sounds can be created with this little thing. Pitch is variable by putting your hand over the opening. A must have piece of percussion equipment.
This ancient fretless instrument is the precursor of the European lute.
